DACA, the deferred action for childhood arrivals, was created through an executive order by President Obama. This unilateral decision was seen as unconstitutional by Speaker Paul Ryan and AG Jeff Sessions.  I believe President Trump when he says he is not after the dreamers but rather the criminals which is why winding down the program over a 6 month time period allows Congress ample time to come up with a legislative alternative. No matter what President Trump does, he is going to upset people.  I'm all for kids having educational opportunities but it’s also important to follow the legal immigration processes. They're in place for the safety and security of our country and everyone here.  President Trump is all about America first.
